Managed Hosting

@ $50/month or $500/year if billed annually.

If you need a host, we’ll set you up with one that works best for you. If you already have a host you’re happy with but are unable to manage your server, we’ll take that role on for you. If you’re unhappy with your current host’s capabilities or performance, we’ll migrate you to a provider that meets or beasts your expectations. What you can expect:

• Timely software upgrades and spam management  for all installed web applications.
• Managed, periodic full site and database backups.
• Basic visitor traffic and behavior analysis.
• Uptime monitoring.
• On-demand user support. Requests for instructional support or changes to the content, design, or functionality of your site will be billed at a discounted rate of $35 per hour (not to exceed five hours per month) — with the first hour free. Unused support hours accumulated over time may be used as credit toward 50% of any major work we do on your site down the road, like a redesign or significant software upgrades.

Enhanced Performance and Security

+ $10/month or $100/year if billed annually.

• Adds a global Content Delivery Network (CDN) and firewall to increase page load speeds, filter attacks, and keep a cached version of your site available even if your server or network paths to it are down. The bandwidth you’ll save helps keep costs down, and by demanding less power, ultimately you’re reducing your site’s carbon footprint as well.
• Additional visitor traffic data and threat monitoring.
• Active threat scanning and blocking from within your web applications.
• Uptime and load speed performance monitoring.
• Periodic security audits and scanning.
• Passive threat deterrence.

Ongoing SEO, Content and Design Support

Get help when you need it.

+ $15/month or $150/year if billed annually.

• SEO monitoring. To keep your pages coming up high on search results pages, we’ll make sure they’re coded properly, and we’ll keep a close eye on how they perform over time. We’ll make changes and recommendations to improve your capture of key search terms.
• Page weight and load speed efficiency monitoring. Lean, properly coded web pages load quickly, get more visitors and rank higher in search results. We’ll watch out for bloat and trim it as the need arises.
• Standards compliance and cross-browser compatibility maintenance. Browsers differ and change, HTML and CSS versions change, and the standards for proper page design continue to evolve. What used to be right and work on browsers a year a go may not work right on them all now. It’s an annoyance we’ll watch out for and keep from becoming an issue.
